The Ministry of Science anounced that has been developped and passed phase III clinical trial,which is called Oral Recombinant Helicobacter Pylori Vaccin, beening developped under the lead of Prof. Zhou Quanming and awarded National Class I Certificate.

The gastropathic vaccin can effectively interrupt the gastropathic pathogenic bacteria with a chance of up to 72.1%."Human clinical testing with a sample of 5000 people indicated the protection probability is up to 72.1%,in contrast to only 60% before worldwildly,"said Zhou Quanming.

According to Zhou Quanming,the brand-new Helicobacter pylori vaccin research system,under a unique gene engineering vaccin-molecule-constructing mode,summons immunity on the surface of gastric mucosa,so that solutes the tough problem that Helicobacter pylori is hard to get rid of when it infects the gastric mucosa.More than that,the vaccin adopts a kind of dosage form by special process,which could overcome the destruction from gastric acidity or pepsin,thereby render the vaccin more effective and stabler.

As the international leader,the vaccin is officially classified Independently Innovative Class I Drug."This gastropathic vaccin is a research achievement which we own exclusive intellectual proper rights,and is classified National Class I Drug on April 23,2009.In the domain of bio-technique,we used to follow and imitate,so we don't have many exclusive intellectual proper rights,"said Wang Denggao.The vaccin is a newly-developped intellectual- proper-rights-entirely-possessed drug,whose developping team has achieved 8 national invention patents during their researching progress.
